This is how the recording orb hears both sides
Left is your microphone, right is the other person's voice. Allow the microphone and play the sample question: the orb shows how it reacts to sound on each side. Nothing is recorded or sent.
The left arcs are your voice. The browser asks for the microphone, just as macOS or Windows will on the first recording.
The right arcs are the other person's voice from Zoom, Meet or Teams. Here we play a short question like on a call; in the app this is the system audio permission.
